Movement Hip Hop Festival is designed to empower Southeast Asian youth through interactive programs with influential sub-cultural artists and creative industry leaders.
"Hi! I usually go by 'Wisdom' when it comes to my closed ones - a name that is somewhat a translation of my Burmese first-name 'Htet'. You can now probably imagine how much my parents and society'd expect of me... A common phrase by 80% of my high school teachers:  "Live up to that name!"
Outside of work, I like to exercise my creativity by experimenting with different kinds of moves as a breakdancer or simply binge-watch films by A24...
I wake up every day in awe of having a chance to study media and business at the University of Pittsburgh, all the way from my hometown of Myanmar (Burma), a place known for its decades of socio-economic turbulence and glamorous traditions.
With my professional experiences as a creative strategist and producer, I will equip myself to eventually make a meaningful impact in southeast Asian social development."
