Exploring 'Sweetness' music video world in the form of time-based interdisciplinary media arts show.
As an extension of Htet's MV. directorial treatment, 50 registered guests stayed in the music video world by interacting with its elements - the cloister set design, Mario Quinn's ( the vocal artist ) reveal in the auditorium, and the ballerina's love story - in its physical space ( Frick Fine Arts Building ).
The music video for 'Sweetness' by Mario Quinn is about the love of two cursed lovers who eventually become statues. So our goal was to write a “choose your own adventure” style interactive narrative in the point of view of the female ballerina in which audience members can 'play' as. With the rule of "majority wins", the audience participated in online polls via our app prototype to help “choose” what direction the story will go. Seamlessly, the narrative transitioned into the premiere of the music video.
